The stories of 16.800 people from the city of Leeuwarden are collected in an artwork by Hein de Graaf at Historisch Centrum Leeuwarden (Historical Center Leeuwarden).

You can find the stories behind every tube at dnaleeuwarden.nl. The tubes can be filtered by collection (themes like history, family, emotions and language). Part of the artwork are lights that correspond with those themes. This indicates where tubes with a specific theme are in the artwork and shows how many stories there are with that theme.
